Design revamp and broad control over site content empowers club to connect with members

Brief

We have enjoyed a productive working relationship with Hinckley Golf Club since 2004. As part of the club's recent drive towards empowering members with improved online facilities, they approached us with an open brief, offering the chance to propose a range of improvements to their website for members and non-members alike.

Solution

The new website now provides the club with far greater control of the content they wish to publicise. Individual club stakeholders are granted editing rights to different pages to ensure that changes can be actioned quickly, and by the correct person.

Golfers at Hinckley benefit too, with a revamped 'Member Area' complete with secure login access and a wide range of useful information including a club member directory, event calendar, and members-only news and special offers.

A 57% increase in website visitor traffic during the first year of launch confirms the popularity of the improvements, and access via mobile devices has risen dramatically.
